Digital payment network Fonepay has launched 'Mahalakshmi Fonepay Credit Card' in partnership with Mahalakshmi Bikas Bank. The bank also claims to be the first development bank to offer phonepay credit card services to its customers.
This service available under the FonePay credit card scheme is completely virtual. It can be easily used through Mahalakshmi Bank's mobile banking app 'Mahalakshmi Smart Saathi'. With the
card, users can scan and pay at any PhonePay QR merchant across Nepal. This card will offer 45 days interest free period of conventional credit card, flexible installment facility and secure payment through QR .
Customers using Mahalakshmi FonePay credit card can get up to 50% cashback, maximum benefits up to Rs.500 .
The bank said that this limited-time promotion will provide customers with the ease and practical experience of QR-based credit payments.
