Bhatbhateni Group is going to start a state-of-the-art garment industry in Bhairahawa.
A team including businessman Umesh Shrestha is going to establish a state-of-the-art garment industry in Special Economic Zone Bhairahawa. Chairman of the group Meen Bahadur Gurung laid the foundation stone of the industry on Wednesday with Bhoomipuja.
'The new project will take an important step in commercial diversification of Bhatbhateni . This has conveyed a positive message that Nepal's industrial environment is improving," said Panu Paudel, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Bhatbhateni. The
industry aims to create about 1,200 jobs, which mainly contributes to the local manpower and the economic development of the area, said Poudel.
The industry, which will be prepared according to international standards, will be built with modern machinery, health safety and clean environment management, as well as a solar energy system of more than one megawatt and battery energy storage.
Poudel said that the factory, which will be built according to international standards, aims to produce ready-made clothes for the local market and the international market through Bhatbhateni's store.
