An agreement has been reached between Citizen Investment Fund and Godavari Municipality regarding the operation of Citizen Pension Scheme.

An agreement has been reached between the fund and the municipality to deposit Rs.500 from the monthly salary of municipal teachers and employees and Rs.500 from the municipal teachers' and employees' welfare fund to deposit Rs. The

agreement was signed on behalf of the municipality by Mayor Birendra Bhatt and Executive Director of the fund Parbat Kumar Karki. It is mentioned in the agreement that a lump sum or a pension will be provided after reaching the age of 60 depending on the amount collected by the teachers, employees and the municipality participating in this plan.
