Global IME Bank has conducted 'Global IME AI/ML Hackathon' on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
The bank has conducted the competition for the development of banking services based on the latest technology, targeting students, startups, developers, data scientists and researchers who are interested in technology. 21 teams were selected for online paper presentation in the competition. Competing teams participated from Kathmandu, Mahendranagar, Pokhara, Birganj, Kavre and Dharan. Team Calculus, the winner of the
competition, won 1 lakh rupees. Also, WDK, Larke Pass, Team Janakpur, Fradex team have been awarded with the second, third, fourth and fifth prizes respectively. According to the bank, WDK received Rs 75,000, Larke Pass Rs 50,000, Team Janakpur and Team Fredex received Rs 15,000 each.
