NMB Bank has partnered with International Finance Corporation (IFC), British International Investments (BII) and MetLife. The bank has signed a partnership letter with these entities with the aim of issuing green bonds denominated in Nepalese rupees worth 60 million US dollars.
According to the bank, this cooperation aims to create quality jobs directly and indirectly by expanding investment in enterprises involved in climate projects.
