Buddha Regency Hotel has come into operation at Bhairahawa in Rupandehi targeting domestic and foreign tourists. According to the manager, there is an investment of around 2 billion in the hotel, which started service from the new year. An international level hotel has been put into operation in front of Gautam Buddha International Airport with huge investment.
Vasantraj Puri, general manager of the hotel, said that a star hotel has been built on an area of one bigha in Siddharthnagar municipality-4. Businessmen Narendra Prasad Gupta, Sunil Agarwal and Pawan Saraogi have invested in the hotel. "Since it is located along the Bhairawa-Lumbini road, everyone's eyes will be on the hotel," Puri said, "The booking of the hotel is exciting in the first month of operation."
The hotel has 150 rooms. These include one presidential suite, three suites and five family-oriented interconnected rooms. According to Puri, the remaining 96 rooms have deluxe facilities. "There is a swimming pool on the roof of the hotel," he said. On the ground floor of the hotel, there is a banquet hall with a capacity of more than 300 people along with an attractive lobby.
