Dr. Pramila Acharya Rizal, who has been advocating women's empowerment and creating an egalitarian society, has given one crore rupees to the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health (KIOCH) established by Lord Koirala.

Acharya presented the check of the said amount to KIOCH founder Dr. Koirala on Monday. Acharya handed over a check of one million Nepali rupees to Koirala to support the campaign of the organization which has been providing services to the urban poor, children of remote areas and other underprivileged communities. 

Acharya has said that citizens should also be responsible for positive social change.
