Aiming at the New Year 2082, 'Made in Nepal Expo and Food Festival' is going to be organized in Narayangadh, Chitwan. The festival is going to be held at Narayanghat campus from this Friday to Baisakh 2 in the organization of Nepali Youth Entrepreneurs Forum Chitwan.

It is said that Renu Dahal, head of Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality, will inaugurate the program. The expo will run from 10 am to 6 pm every day, while the Grand Food Festival will be held from 5 pm to 9 pm, informed Umesh Shrestha, Chitwan president of the forum.  Entry to the

expo is free, while entry to the food festival is charged. Famous bands will perform every day at the food festival. According to the organizer, the ticket price is 300 rupees for advance online booking and 500 rupees for buying tickets at the venue. 

On the first day, there will be a special performance of 'The Edge Band' on 29th March, 30th 'Rockhead', 31st March 'Poorna Rai and Parivartan', 1st May 'The Swar' and 2nd May 'Uday and Jhakas'. According to the organizer, you will find variety of flavors of Thakali, Tharu, Tamang, Newari, Terai and other dishes in the

food festival. It will include organic produce, delicious cooking demo, food art display and photo friendly design areas.

There are not more than 100 stalls in this expo. Where there will be brands of Nepali products such as shoes, clothes, tea, craft, soap, spices, honey, pickles etc. According to the organizers, there will be startup idea pitching, poetry reading, inspirational speeches and presentations on innovation by students from various colleges and schools. During the

program, youth-oriented panel discussions will be held on three different topics on three days, informed Suryabhakt Adhikari, former president of the platform.

Yuva Entrepreneurs Forum started it by organizing Made in Nepal Expo as a part of Chitwan Festival since 2017. Niranjan Neupane, the former president, said that after three editions, this event was organized as a separate large expo. He called on everyone to love this year as they did in the past.

This time, the organizer said that the local products of Bharatpur will be promoted through a special area called 'Made in Bharatpur' at the expo.
