Nepal Clearing House has said that NPS-National Card Switch and Domestic Card Scheme are technically ready. Governor Mahaprasad Adhikari has also unveiled the switch and scheme.

According to the final approval recently received by NCHL from Nepal Rastra Bank, NPS card switch and Nepal Pay Card have been prepared.

The governor officer informed that the infrastructure of NPS has been prepared by conducting transactions through POS and ATMs in a controlled environment through Nepal Pay Card.

A centralized management and distribution system AI/ML based risk management system will be implemented under National Card Switch under NPS infrastructure.
