Nepali student first in Python coding category of global coding competition

Nepali students have achieved excellent results in international coding competitions. Krishna Rizal, a class 8 student of High New Vision Academy, has won the global first place in the Python coding category.

Vinayak Pangeni, a student of class 4 of Excelsior School, won the global second position in junior block-based coding and Shreyash Khadgi, a student of class 5 of Meridian International School, won the global second position in senior block-based coding. 

9 students from Nepal were selected in the competition organized by Distance Education Network and in collaboration with Discovery Education Network UK and Edutech India. Students from Nepal participated in the competition among participants from India, Hong Kong, Middle East, UK, America, Australia and other countries including Nepal. In the

competition, students from classes 2 to 4 competed in junior block-based coding, students from class 5 in senior block-based coding and students from classes 6 to 9 competed in Python coding category.
