A three-day Dhaka Textile Festival is held in Biratnagar. Koshi Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki inaugurated the festival in a ceremony. He said that the government should invest for the promotion of Nepali products in Dhaka.

He also assured that in the next financial year 2082/83, the budget will be allocated for the further promotion of the Dhaka industry in Koshi. He also asked for opinions and suggestions about the problems faced by Dhaka industries.

There are more than 30 stalls of Dhaka industry in Koshi at the festival which started under the organization of Women's Enterprise Committee of Federation of Nepal Industry and Commerce Koshi Province Committee. The festival ends on Saturday.
