The AAC block manufacturers association, which is made using cement and sand instead of bricks, is going to organize the first AAC conference with the slogan 'Building a sustainable future'.
President of AAC Brick Producers Association Nicholas Pandey said that the conference is going to be organized to increase the utility of AAC blocks. He said that experts from India will come to the conference and He said that structural and architect engineers will also be present.
President Pandey said that 9 AAC block industries are operating in Nepal with an investment of five billion rupees. He said that the demand for AAC blocks is now low and the industry is producing only 20 percent of the total capacity. The conference will start from Chait 8th.
