MG's EV SUV S-5 has been launched in the Nepali market. Paramount Motors, the official dealer of MG Motors for Nepal, launched SUV S5 during an event on Thursday. General Manager of Paramount Motors Company, Sunil Chhetri, said that the car has a 49 KW battery and a mileage of 340 km on a full charge.

The S5 is available in three variants. The price of which is 43 lakh 99 thousand, 49 lakh 99 thousand and 54 lakh 99 thousand rupees. The thinnest ultra thin battery has been used in this car. 49.1 and 62.2 KW batteries are installed in this 99 KW vehicle. 

A 49.1 KW Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery is used, which means using carbon as the positive electrode material and carbon as the negative electrode material. The S5 offers a WLTP range of 340 km on a single charge.

MG's S-5 is 4476 mm in length, 1849 mm in width and 1621 mm in height. According to the company, the features include a 12.8-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a panoramic sunroof on the top variant.
