In collaboration with Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Center for Integrated Urban Development (CIUD) and Bottlers Nepal Limited, the 'Children and Environment (BABA)' project has been completed in two public schools in Kathmandu.
The project was completed in the presence of Sunita Dangol, Deputy Mayor of the metropolis, during a ceremony on Tuesday. Material Recovery Facility (MRF) was handed over to both the schools on the occasion of completion of the project.
Launched in June 2024, the aim of this project was to provide students with knowledge beyond textbooks and educate them on environmental issues. According to the metropolis, it has promoted practices such as waste management, classification of waste at source, reuse and recycling.
