The 11th Annual General Meeting of Nepal-Italy Chamber of Commerce and Industry has been completed in Kathmandu.
The assembly has committed to promote investment, expand the tourism sector and strengthen trade relations between Nepal and Italy. The program was completed under the chief hospitality of distinguished honorary member and patron Rajeshkaji Shrestha and the chairmanship of Sanjay Agarwal, president of the association.
Similarly, Italy's Honorary Consul for Nepal Pratima Pandey, Senior Vice President of the Association Arnico Rajbhandari, Vice President Rupak Rajvanshi, Vice President Manoj Kumar Gyawali and others were present. In the
program, the General Secretary of the Association, Manoj Shrestha Vadal, expressed his gratitude for Italy's long-term support in the reconstruction of Nepal's cultural, historical and physical heritage. He said, 'Italy's contribution to Nepal's heritage protection has been important. We believe that this cooperation will remain as a permanent symbol of friendship between our two countries.' Patron Rajesh Kazi Shrestha and Honorary Consul Pratima Pandey were given certificates of special honor, while Ashank Samser Jung Bahadur Rana was honored as the 'Best Member of the Year' for 2024.
Association President Agarwal, while discussing the long journey of diplomatic and economic relations between Nepal and Italy, said that the role of the association is important in the goal of expanding the business cooperation of more than six decades in a balanced and sustainable manner.
