NIC Asia Bank has requested its customers to update the Permanent Account Number (PAN) in their accounts.

The bank has made such a request because the statement of tax deductions made from the account of the bank's customers must be added to the permanent account number system according to the Income Tax Act 2058. 

It is said that you can update the PAN number in your account from any branch office of the bank you like.
