Metlife has contributed Rs 5 lakh for the backward communities. MetLife has supported Rural Women's Eagerness Development Forum (Forward Nepal) to distribute warm clothes to disadvantaged communities in Sunsari.

According to Metlife, this will provide urgent relief to the Dalit and Musahar communities of Duhavi Municipality, Barju Rural Municipality, Gadhi Rural Municipality and Inaruwa Municipality. It is said that 1,000 senior citizens and 500 widows will benefit from this assistance.
