'VMag' at Thames College

The 'VMag' team, which has been providing information on the educational environment, quality of education, extracurricular activities and other issues of various colleges operating in Nepal, has reached Thames International College in Kathmandu this time.

Teaching IT, Business and Management and Social Sciences courses, Thames has been imparting practical knowledge to the students along with theoretical teaching.

The purpose of the college is to make students not only pass the academic level and get a certificate, but also develop leadership skills in their respective subjects and also make them creative. 

Faculty Co-ordinator of 'Business and Management' Shikha Gautam says that what sets Thames College apart from others is the balance between experience and learning. She says, 'Currently, our college's programs are excellent in terms of theory, apart from that, we are teaching students through workshops, seminars and community-based activities.' said. 

Thames College director Sujan Kayasth said, recalling the history of starting the college 25 years ago with 7 students, 'In this 25 years, we have reached the stage of conducting 9 programs.' .
