Mercure Hotel has come into operation

Mercure Hotel has come into operation. According to Mercure Nepal, the hotel has been put into operation after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli formally inaugurated it in Sukedhara, Kathmandu on Wednesday. This is the first Mercure brand hotel in Nepal. The hotel is committed to presenting originality and providing guests with a warm and intimate stay.

Dedicated to providing a local experience since 1973, this hotel has been designed to embody the spirit of Kathmandu. A variety of dishes, from international classics to authentic local and savoury, can be enjoyed, said a statement issued by the hotel.

Guests can experience the convenience of the rooftop infinity pool overlooking the Kathmandu Valley, sauna facilities and fitness center during their hotel stay.

"The opening of Mercure Kathmandu Sukedhara Heights is a major milestone in Accor's expansion journey across Asia," said Tharth Simmons, Chief Operating Officer of Accor's Premium, Midscale and Economy Division Asia. Similarly, Deshbandhu Basnet (Ajit), Chairman of The Metropolitan Hotel Pvt Ltd said that he is proud to bring this brand to Nepal in collaboration with Mercure.
