Sunrise Bank is going to provide five percent bonus shares to its shareholders. The decision was taken at the 24th annual general meeting of the bank held on Wednesday in Kathmandu.

The assembly passed a resolution to distribute 5 percent bonus shares of the bank's paid-up capital. With the passed bonus shares, the bank's paid-up capital has reached 24.34 billion rupees.

The meeting has discussed and approved the report of the board of directors for the financial year 2080/81 and the financial statements of the bank for the same year.
