Lakshmi Bank is going to invest in Upper Marsyangdi Hydropower. Under the leadership of Lakshmi Bank, an agreement has been signed between the banks participating in the co-financing and the Upper Marsyangdi Hydropower Company.
An agreement has been reached to invest in the Upper Marsyangdi 1 hydropower project with a capacity of 10 megawatts to be built in Marsyangdi in Lamjung.
The total cost of the project is 21.40 billion rupees. Banks participating in the bank-led co-financing for project construction have committed to invest 74.77 percent of the project cost.
