On the occasion of completing 18 years of establishment and entering the 19th year, Muktinath Development Bank has organized various programs in its regional offices across the country.
The bank honored three journalists who researched and published articles and news in the agricultural sector with the 'Muktinath Best Agricultural Journalism Award'. Among the journalists who received the award are Palpa correspondent Madhav Prasad Aryal from Kantipur, Sagar Periyar from Jumla, Kaushila Kunwar from Kathmandu.
Aryal was honored with 15,000, Pariyar 35,000 and Kunwar 25,000 in cash and a certificate, according to the bank. Similarly, the bank organized a nationwide drawing competition among the students of classes 8 to 10, targeting the topic of environmental protection and climate change prevention. According to the bank, 50,000 and a certificate were awarded to Julen Gurung, the best picture creator. According to the bank, Rs 10,000 was awarded to the best painters under each regional office.
