The 7th General Assembly and 3rd National Convention of Nepal National Business Federation will be held on 20th of January. In a press conference held in Kathmandu on the eve of the convention, Federation President Kumar Karki gave information about the convention and general meeting.
According to the federation, a five-member election committee has been formed under the chairmanship of advocate Arjun Aryal. The election committee has published the final voter list.
Chairman Karki has given concessional mortgage interest rates to small and medium businessmen without the recommendation of the local government. He opined that loans of up to 25 lakh rupees should be provided. "Businessmen should get loans at subsidized rates instead of subsidies," he said. He emphasized that the business registration system should be through a one-door system, and customs rates should also be modified in time.
He said that the state should implement a scientific house rent tax for doing business in industrial and commercial areas in urban areas, after providing the tax payment certificate from the tax office based on the account details, it should not be reviewed, and the limit of transactions through the permanent account number should be increased from Rs 5 million to Rs 20 million. .
