This year's 'Ncell Woman Icon ICT Award' has been given to Bandana Sharma, who has made significant contributions in the field of information technology.

Sharma was honored with the award in the recently concluded 'ICT Award 2024' program. Karnali Chief Minister Yamlal Kandel and Ncell's Corporate Communication and CSR Head Vishakha Laxmi Khadka jointly presented the award to Sharma.

Sharma, who is working as the head of card and digital banking division of Nepal Bank, has also received a cash prize of 3 lakh rupees along with the award. The award is given to women who have contributed significantly to the development of information technology in Nepal.
