"Peru Food Festival" has been organized at the Marriott Hotel in Kathmandu.  Last week, the Consulate General of Peru and the Embassy of Peru in India, which is accredited to Nepal, organized a Peru Food Festival in the capital.

The festival named 'Taste of Peru in Kathmandu' organized at the Marriott Hotel informed about the culinary heritage of Peru. One of Peru's most iconic creations is the Pisco Sour (a cocktail made with lime juice, syrup, egg whites, Angus Tura bitters and ice cubes).

On this occasion, Peru's Honorary Consul General for Nepal Sumit Kumar Agrawal said that Peru is also among the most preferred culinary heritage in the world.

He informed that we organized this event respecting the long history of Peruvian cuisine. He said that the festival will contribute to promoting people-to-people relations between the two countries.
