Nepal Automobiles Association (NASA Nepal) has received the prestigious award of International Motorcycle Federation Federation Internationale de Motorcycle (FIM).

The award was given to Nepal on the topic of 'Women in Motoring' at the 120th Foundation Day and Annual General Meeting of the Federation held in the Spanish coastal tourist city of Palma Marloca.

More than one hundred countries and more than one thousand participated in the award program of the world's only motorcycle federation. The head of FIM Women in Motorcycling, Latvia's Yanika Yu, handed over the award to the Executive Director of NASA Nepal, Gobind Bhattarai.

The award was given on the basis of legalizing women's leadership, campaigning for women's empowerment through motorcycles, ensuring women's participation and leadership in racing, rallies and road safety, women's leadership in various commissions of NASA, women's commissions and separate regular support programs. Said.  

FIM will distribute awards to the winners of all international events in 2024 at the general meeting. Four awards such as Women in Motoring, FIM Women Award, Mobility and Public Policy, Future in Motorcycling, Environment and Sustainability were also distributed.
