Tiktok has organized a Digital Safety Summit in partnership with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology. According to Tiktok, the program was organized recently to promote online safety and digital literacy.

Communications Minister Prithvisubba Gurung, who was the keynote speaker at the event, said that the government is committed to enhancing digital security.

Ministry spokesperson Gajendra Thakur, digital safety expert Santosh Sigdel and TikTok creator Subas Ghimire interacted on 'Monitoring Risks, Protecting Users: A Shared Approach to Digital Security'. The participants in the interaction emphasized on family pairing tools and TikTok's commitment to the safety of Nepali users.
