Equity firm NIBL Equity Partners has signed an agreement to invest in Electro Power Company. This agreement is said to provide additional energy to the 44 MW hydropower project under construction on the Bhotekoshi River and also meet the equity requirement for the project.
NIBL Equity Partners, under the management of NIMB S Capital, has stated that it has been taking the potential of Nepal's hydropower projects to promote economic development and sustainable clean energy with importance.
NIMBS Chief Executive Officer Shivant Bahadur Pandey said that the commitment to safe investment in the clean energy sector has been taken forward. Also, Electro Power Managing Director Madhav Prasad Mainali said that the partnership will speed up the construction process.
