Zonta Club Kathmandu, Ncell Foundation, UNFPA and UNICEF Nepal have joined the 16-day campaign against gender-based violence. With the aim of raising awareness for the end of child marriage and contributing to its solution through a joint initiative, a program for the elimination of violence against women has been organized and joined in the campaign. In the event, Jonta president Bina Rana said that cooperation of all parties is essential to stop child marriage.

On the same occasion, a message music video was released by UNFPA and UNICEF Nepal to make teenagers aware of the effects of child marriage.

UNICEF Nepal's Deputy Representative to Nepal Jee Hyun Rah, UNFPA Nepal's gender and human rights expert Kamala Bista, artist Prakash Saput and SDG Studio released a video of the song 'Shirmai Furke Ribbon'. In the

program, Ncell's Head of Corporate Communications and CSR Vishakha Lakshmi Khadka said that ending gender violence is not only a social need but everyone's moral responsibility.
