NIC Asia Bank has said that in the case of loans that exceed the balance by the end of March 080, if the borrower repays the loan within the next May, he will give a 100% discount on the amount of fines and damages. Also, the bank has come up with a plan to give a discount of 15 to 35 percent even on the ordinary outstanding interest amount.
According to this, the bank will give a 15 percent discount to borrowers who are overdue for 91 days to 180 days and 25 percent to borrowers who are overdue for 181 days to 365 days. It is also said that a 35 percent discount will be given to borrowers who are overdue for more than 365 days.
The bank says that the customers who are in trouble due to financial laxity in any loans that are paid in monthly and quarterly installments or working capital loans and other revolving loans from the bank can participate in this scheme and benefit from it.
