The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSWP), which won all four constituencies in Saptari directly, has also garnered the highest number of votes in the proportional representation. The RSWP has received a total of 149,186 votes. The Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal, which is in second place, has received 36,068 votes. The Nepali Congress has received 26,963 votes, while the Janamat Party, which is in fourth place, has received 18,901 votes. The CPN-UML has received 14,973 votes, the Swabhiman Party has received 6,966 votes, the Rashtra Nirman Dal Nepal has received 6,129 votes, the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) has received 4,721 votes, and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has received 3,631 votes. The Rastriya Mukti Party Nepal, the Janata Samajwadi Party and the Nagarik Unmukti Party Nepal, which contested the elections under a single symbol, have received 2,307 votes, and the Nepal Janata Sankaran Party has received 1,313 votes, while other parties have not even managed to cross the 1,000 votes.
Looking at the regional votes, in Constituency No. 1, the RSVP got 40,602 votes, the UML got 6,897 votes, the Congress got 6,722 votes, the Janmat Party got 4,944 votes, the Swabhiman Party got 4,683 votes, the JSP Nepal got 3,096 votes, the RPP got 1,556 votes, the NCP got 1,361 votes, and the Rashtra Nirman Dal Nepal got 1,125 votes.
In Constituency No. 2, the RSVP got 31,776 votes, the JSP Nepal got 12,619 votes, the Janmat Party got 9,113 votes, the Congress got 2,888 votes, the Swabhiman Party got 2,260 votes, the Rashtra Nirman Dal Nepal got 1,834 votes, and the UML got 989 votes.
In Constituency No. 3, the RSVP got 36,153 votes, the JSP Nepal got 12,569 votes, the Congress got 7,897 votes, the UML got 5,696 votes, the Janmat Party got 3,531 votes, the NCP got 1,219 votes, and the Rashtra Nirman Dal Nepal got 735 votes.
In Constituency No. 4, the RSVP got 40,655 votes, the Congress got 9,456 votes, the JSP Nepal got 7,784 votes, the Rashtra Nirman Dal Nepal got 2,335 votes, the NCP got 1,646 votes, the UML got 1,391 votes, and the Janmat Party got 1,313 votes.
Out of a total of 446,402 voters, 293,377 people cast their votes in Saptari.
