Literary scholar Karuna Jha has provided financial assistance to the family of Ana Bahadur Ale Magar of Swarna Tole, Rajbiraj Municipality-5, Saptari, who is facing shortages for school expenses.

After the news was published in ‘Kantipur’, Rajbiraj has provided financial assistance of Rs 15,000 to the family of Jha Magar, a writer from Municipality-6.

Jha, who is also the director of Chinnamasta Hospital Rajbiraj, reached the victim’s house on Tuesday afternoon and provided financial assistance.

Earlier, on Tuesday, local youth and Saptari Youth Nepal had provided financial assistance including cash and food to the family.   After Magar, who was running his family by working as a wage laborer, died last Friday evening, the family was facing difficulty in covering their food expenses and food.

Magar, who died at the age of 72, is survived by his 18-year-old daughter Inisha and 16-year-old younger sister Erika Kariya.

Due to the tradition of allowing the Kiriyaputri to live separately, Magar's wife Deepa has been forced to live outside under a tarpaulin during the cold wave.
