Newly elected Speaker of the Madhesh Provincial Assembly, Ram Ashish Yadav, has taken the oath of office and secrecy.

Yadav, who was elected as the Speaker of the Provincial Assembly today, took the oath. He was administered the oath by Madhesh Provincial Chief Surendra Labh. He was elected as the Speaker through a vote-sharing process in the Provincial Assembly held earlier today. UML's Triloki Prasad also filed her candidacy for the post of Speaker in opposition to her.
