Dhanusha police have arrested two persons who vandalized, arson and looted the office of State Public Service Commission in Janakpur on August 24th at 7 pm. The arrested persons also robbed the SLR rifle of the police stationed there for security.
In a press note issued by the District Police Office, Dhanusha, it has been stated that Manish Kumar Adhikari, 37 years old, and Santosh Kumar Yadav, 21 years old, of Janakpur –9, were among those who broke into the Madhesh Pradesh Public Service Commission office in a rented house located in Janakpur –
They looted one SLR rifle and 50 rounds of ammunition belonging to the Nepal Police who were assigned to the office for security purposes. During the investigation, the police said that the officer and Yadav were arrested after analyzing the footage from different places. According to Dhanusha police, an SLR rifle was found with them and investigations are being carried out in the case of other robberies.
Similarly, the Dhanusha police said that they are working to identify and arrest those involved in the vandalism, looting and arson of government offices and private properties such as the Janakpur cigarette factory, the provincial assembly secretariat, Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city, which is the headquarters of the Madhesh provincial government.
