After it became public that such an act was being carried out with the connivance of the employees, the administration conducted a raid and seized the documents and employees, but investigated the matter and gave them immunity instead of taking action.

District Administration Office Saptari raided Shubalakshmi Engineering Consultancy located in Rajviraj Municipality-8 of Saptari on Monday evening and seized the sub-engineer of Tourism Development Office Lahan Sirha along with eight files.

The administration conducted a raid on the basis of a complaint made by the consumer committee that the sub-engineer Surendra Kumar Yadav of that office in Siraha was running the office from Rajviraj to collect commission. As soon as the team reached the consultancy, sub-engineer Yadav, Shyam Das, an employee of the consultancy, and the officials of the consumer committee tried to escape. But they were arrested by the administration along with the files.

A BAC 6970 Scorpio and a Ko8P 7212 motorcycle were also seized from the front of the same consultancy. The District Administration Office sent the documents seized in the evening to the District Administration Office Siraha for necessary investigation and action. However, the Siraha administration handed over those documents to the Tourism Development Office without any investigation or legal action.
