A collection of poems by UK-based writer Shanti Limbu, titled ‘Thamesko Laharma Tamorko Sparsh’, has been released.

Literary writer and author Khagendra Sangraula and others released the work at a program organized by Oyam Sarokar Samaj Kathmandu in Lalitpur on Saturday. On the occasion, Sangraula said that the work covers the issues of being forced to leave the country, issues of migrant life, the roots of human life, and women’s consciousness.

Film director and poet Navin Limbu said that the work contains Yakthum consciousness, totality, wholeness, and coexistence, and also includes the issue of feminism. Poet Bimala Tumkhewa said that the issue of women is being made prominent in the global literary structure and mentioned that the poem has exposed the problem in favor of reform for building a beautiful society.

While reviewing the work, Gurung Sushant said that the collection of poems is an ideological document of memory, language, culture and consciousness. He said that the book depicts the crisis of Nepali human civilization and cultural existence.

Poet Shanti Limbu said that continuous progress is an aspect of life and said that she prepared the poem by incorporating many emotions and things that came to her mind. The work, published by Ratnapustak Bhandar, presents the themes and feelings of women, nature, country and foreign countries.
