Journalist and author Bishnu Vivek's first book 'Ghatgaun' has also been released in the US. The book was launched during a special New Year program at the Nepali House in Colorado organized by Rocky Mountain Friends of Nepal (RMFN).
The program was jointly launched by chief guest Binod Tripathi, Prof. Vijay Sharma, ANESAS Board of Trustees Chairman Padam Vishwakarma, Tika Poudel, Arjun Bagale, Aakriti Rai and the author himself.
The speakers praised the author for reaching America in a short time and making a name for himself through writing. Padam Vishwakarma said that Vivek's simple and effective writing based on his experience will attract readers. President Aakriti Rai mentioned that the book emotionally presents the struggle from the village to America.
Author Vivek has appealed for support, promising to use the proceeds from the sale of the book to build a library in his village school. Born in Ghatgaun, Surkhet, Vivek has continued writing in America after a decade of experience in radio and online journalism. 'Ghatgaun' is a work based on his life struggles, journalism, and diaspora experiences.
