The Nepal India University Professors' Conference has been inaugurated with the sound of conch shells. On Saturday, critic Prof. Dr. Vasudev Tripathi inaugurated the conference in Kathmandu.

Along with the inauguration of the conference, the chief guest Dr. Tripathi also released a comprehensive book titled 'The Role of Universities in Nepal and India in the Development of Nepali Language and Literature' published by NAI Academy, edited by Narendra Raj Prasai and Indira Prasai.

At the ceremony, Dr. Tripathi said that presenting a comprehensive book with highly academic research published in the historic three-day conference organized by NAI with its own internal resources was not only unforgettable and historical, but also like adding fragrance to gold.

The 872-page book contains 25 articles about universities in Nepal and India.  This book contains an updated chronicle of the history of teaching and research of Nepali subjects by scholars involved in teaching and research in Nepali subjects in universities in Nepal and India.

At the conference, Dr. Tribhuvan Barai gave a speech on the documents of the New Academy and universities of Nepal, and Dr. Ambika Aryal gave a speech on the working papers of universities of Nepal and India.
