The Dahal Foundation is going to present the 'Padma Prasad-Krishna Kumari Dahal Social Honor Award-2082' to writer and senior journalist Ram Rizhan Yadav this time.

Yadav, who has been contributing to society through various political campaigns including social service, journalism, teaching, and writing for over four decades, will be honored with a cash prize of Rs 101,000. Yadav was also the press advisor to the then Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai.

Born on Falgun 17, 2016 in Sanhaitha, Siraha, Yadav has published eight works in Nepali and Maithili languages. Yadav, who is active in promoting language and culture, has received dozens of honors and awards from the Federation of Nepali Journalists, including the Freedom Fighter Award and the Environmental Journalism Award.

Social worker Badri Prasad Pahadi Dahal, a resident of Biratnagar, had established a revolving fund of Rs 1 million in memory of his parents. The decision to provide this honor/award was made from the interest received from it, informed the Foundation's General Secretary Suryakumar Dahal.
