Literary writer Dinesh Gupta has announced the Dinesh Gupta Talent Award with the aim of encouraging new talent in Bhojpuri literature.
According to Gupta, the award was established with the aim of providing a new platform to writers and poets active in the field of Bhojpuri literature and highlighting their talent.
Gupta said that this initiative was taken as a small effort to repay the debt of recognition given to him by literature. He mentioned that this award is a loving gift given to writers and poets who have contributed to Bhojpuri literature on his behalf.
According to him, the award aims to give a new perspective to the society and encourage writers and poets who are active in writing but have yet to receive wider recognition. He expressed his belief that through this initiative, writers will get an opportunity to present their creations and establish their identity in the literary field.

He said that he himself will also participate in the team. The selection will be made on the basis of the depth, novelty, social message and sensitivity of the writing.
Stating that there is growing enthusiasm among writers and readers about this award, Gupta informed that the formal launch of the award will be within Falgun. He expressed confidence that such initiatives will add new energy to Bhojpuri literature.
