The names of six creators who have contributed to literature, fine arts, music, and journalism have been made public.

The Nepali Kalasahitya.com Foundation has announced the names of the winners of the National Kalashree Award and Prize for the year 2082.

The award was announced by the working committee meeting held in Lalitpur on Friday under the chairmanship of the foundation's president, poet and essayist Momila.

Senior playwright and lyricist Man Bahadur Mukhiya has been selected for the invaluable National Kalashri Award. Similarly, the foundation has decided to award the National Kalashri Award to talented poet, essayist, editor and literary activist Shri Om Shrestha 'Rodan'.

Similarly, it has been decided to award the Sa-Siddhi National Kalashri Youth Award to poet and translator Nimesh Nikhil, the Badri National Kalashri Journalism Award to journalist and creator Rajesh Khanal, the Thirachaya National Kalashri Fine Arts Award to Mithila art seeker Chitrakar SC Suman and the Padmanetra National Kalashri Music Award to famous folk singer and researcher Jhuma Limbu.

The National Kalashri Award carries a cash prize of Rs 100,000 along with a citation, the Sa-Siddhi National Kalashri Youth Award carries a cash prize of Rs 75,000, the Thirachaya Kalashri National Fine Arts Award carries a cash prize of Rs 60,000, and the other awards carry a cash prize of Rs 50,000 each along with a citation.

The foundation has stated that the awards and honors will be presented to the Kathmandu Tourism Board on Falgun 4. The foundation has been continuously presenting the Kalashri honors and awards for 17 years.
