The fifth edition of the world tour of 'Kitab Jatra', organized by the Kitab Yatra Foundation, is scheduled to be held on February 15 at the PhD House in New Delhi, India.

‘The letters or words of a book do not get tired. But people get tired. The story keeps moving. Kitab Jatra is a representation of such a story,’ said Rishi Ram Adhikari, director of Kitab Jatra Festival. He said that he wanted to continue Kitab Jatra to raise the level of education and awareness in the society and in places where Nepalis and Nepali speakers are present. The

festival includes more than half a dozen discussion sessions, interactive programs and other creative programs. Literary figures, politicians, writers, artists, editors, journalists, etc. from Nepal and India will be present at the

program. There will be a serious debate on various issues related to literature, including social, political, economic, and new technology. The

festival will also feature an exhibition of Nepali books.

Writers Nayan Raj Pandey, Amar Neupane, journalist Tikaram Yatri, Sama Thapa, writers Atul K Thakur, Anurag Basnet,

writer Dr. Shreedhar Khanal and other Nepali and Indian writers and critics will be present.

The festival will feature a poetic performance by poet Biplav Pratik and a performance by stand-up comedian Prabhat Lama.

There will also be a Delhi launch of a book translated from Nepali into English by literary duo Nayan Raj Pandey and Amar Neupane.
