The Latte Art Restaurant, Damak, became even more lively with literature and music on the eve of New Year 2026. The event, titled ‘Poetry with the Latte’, turned the cold atmosphere warm and intimate as poetry, ghazals, and songs mixed with the taste of coffee.
The evening, where the melody of the sarangi, the melody of poetry, and the taste of coffee blended together, made the beginning of the New Year simple, sweet, and memorable.
Senior poets Prakash Budhathoki, Deshu Banem, Heman Yatri, Anjat Dadhi, Suman Smarika, and Sapna Limbu recited 10 poems and four ghazals. As the lines of the poems reached the hearts of the audience, the sounds of the sarangi, madal, and flute performed in between made the program more colorful.
Chulachuli stars Yushan Rai and Roman Bishwa heated the atmosphere further through songs. The melodious melody of the sarangi of Shiva Gandharva and Sujan Gandharva continued to act as a bridge between poetry and music. The program seemed more lively when the audience participated in spontaneous dances along with the rhythm of the sarangi. The melodious flute of flute player Ganesh Lamsong enchanted the entire atmosphere.
