A program called 'Swaranjali: Dedicated to the Martyrs' was held at Chaubiskothi Chowk in Bharatpur on Saturday in memory of those who were martyred in the Gen-G movement.

Where they paid tribute to the martyrs through poetry, street plays and music and appealed to vote consciously and mindfully in the upcoming elections to make Nepal a developed country as they dreamed of.

Gen-G leader Raksha Bam also recited a poem in the program. She recited the poem 'Tanashahko Kurup Kala' written by Chitwan poet Bhupin. Similarly, Binita Gurung, Anjan Pradeep, Manish Khanal, Sachin Chapagain, Rajan Rana Magar and others presented themselves in favor of the Gen-G opinion by reciting poems. After that, Chitwan's theater organization 'Karmi Chautari' performed the street play 'Chukandar'.

Along with poetry and drama, music also resonated in favor of Gen-G under the peepal tree of Chaubiskothi. Nepal Idol 6th second runner-up Darshana Gandhari paid tribute to the martyrs through songs.

Samarpan Neupane also gave a message through song that it is time to unite for the country.

The program was organized by Gen-G Chitwan in collaboration with Gen-G Movement Alliance, Nepal Gen-G Front, and The Council of Gen-G.
