The Progressive Writers' Association has awarded four writers. Former president of the Progressive Writers' Association and UML vice-president Raghuji Pant presented the awards to the writers at a program organized in the capital.

Ishwar Chandra Gyawali was awarded the Shyam Prasad Memorial Award, Rupak Alankar was awarded the Prales Youth Award, Anil Sharma was awarded the Prales Talent Award, and Sushila Pradhanang was awarded the Prales Children's Literature Award.

The chief guest of the program, Pant, said that since progressive literature builds the ideological path of the country, there is a need to emphasize the creation of progressive literature and its reading culture.

The 31st issue of the magazine 'Prales', the ghazal collection 'Agoko Rang' written by Tila Lekali, and the mournful poem 'Matriviyog' written by Bindu Dahal Mookdarsh ​​were also released during the program.
