The 30th National Children's Literature Conference has concluded in Libang, Rolpa.
The conference was organized by the Nepal Children's Literature Society and co-organized by the literary organizations of Rolpa and managed by the local main organizing committee. The conference was held for two days on Thursday and Friday at Tundikhel, Jaljala Campus and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Rolpa in Libang. Former Finance Minister and MP Barshaman Pun inaugurated the conference. Pun emphasized that Gen-Gs are smart and that future children's literature should be written for the Alpha Generation. Nepali children's literature creators and some foreign creators were also present at the conference. Foreign creators were present from China, Slovenia and India. Locals affiliated with various schools and groups participated in the inaugural session of Tundikhel on Thursday by touring the city with a tableau. In addition to the release of children's books at the
conference, various sessions discussed the role of children's literature in child development. In addition to displaying children's books at the conference, writings were also read. In the
conference, training was provided in storytelling, painting, poetry, essays, acting, handwriting writing, story reading, and dance, and the best students were also awarded. The five-point Rolpa Declaration was made public at the conclusion of the
program. The declaration includes organizing more and more programs to showcase children's talents, encouraging the establishment of libraries in every school and municipality and determining reading time for the development of reading culture, solving various problems faced by children, and expanding the research and study of children's folk tales, folk tales, legends, and myths of different languages and ethnicities.
