Kathalaya Inc. Pvt. Ltd. has obtained permission to officially translate and publish the famous book 'Rich Dad, Poor Dad', written by entrepreneur and investor Robert Kiyosaki, into Nepali.
Kim Kiyosaki, CEO of Rich Dad Operating Company of America, and Rajivdhar Joshi, co-founder and director of Kathalaya, signed the agreement .
So far, this book has sold more than 40 million copies worldwide and has been published in more than 51 languages in 109 countries . Kathalaya will officially publish this book in Nepali language under its brand 'We Read' .
Some international books are published in the Nepali book market without permission from the original publisher or agent . Similarly, due to unauthorized book translations and publications, the image of Nepali publishing is tarnished in the world . Joshi, director of Kathalaya, said that after this agreement, the publication of the book will help improve the image of Nepali publishing to some extent .
After the translation, the name of the book will be 'Rich Father, Poor Father' and the book will be available in the market by mid-February , Kathalaya has stated .
