Poet Mukul Dahal's poetry collection 'Ek Astitva Aalap' has been launched.

Poets Avinash Shrestha, Momila, Shailendra Sakar, Krishna Dharavasi, Narayan Dhakal and Kumar Nagarkoti launched the collection at a program organized at the capital's Shilpi Theater.

Various poets recited poems by poet Dahal at the program organized on the occasion of Lakshmi Jayanti. Along with the poetry recitation, poet Shravan Mukarung shared the experience of writing poetry together in the forties. He said, 'Mukulji had become a master when we recited double poems all night long in the jungle safari of Chitwan. Even after thirty years, his poems are still powerful.'

Poet Momila recited a poem by Dahal titled Prempatra, while Kumar Nagarkoti recited a poem titled 'Jhyal', recalling that he first read poet Mukul Dahal as a storyteller in contemporary literature.

Similarly, poet Bhishma Upreti presented his memoirs of the school life they spent together and recited Dahal's own poems. Similarly, poet Biplav Dhakal also discussed the poetic consciousness and power in poet Dahal's poems.

Poet Dahal recited three of his poems while presenting the story of his time abroad at the program.

Poet Dahal, who has been living in Britain for two and a half decades and is involved in literary pursuits, had previously published his poetry collection 'Seema Teet Seemanta' in 2061 BS. Bookhill has brought out a collection of four dozen poems, 'Ek Astitva Aalap'.
