The photo book 'Destination Solududhakund' of religious, historical, archeological and touristic places of Solududhakund municipality area has been released.

The publication of Solududhakunda Municipality and the book prepared by writer and journalist Bharatabandhu Thapa have been jointly released by the municipal chief and people's representatives. 

Thapa has prepared a photo book about the cultural, religious and lifestyle within Solududhakund Municipality. Speaking after the release of the

book, Namgel Jangbu Sherpa, head of Solududhkunda Municipality, said that Solududhkunda Municipality is not only rich in natural resources but also rich in art and culture.

If you reach Pike Peak located in the southern part of Solu Dudhakundan city, you can see a series of mountains that are higher than eight thousand meters in the world at once. Perhaps for this reason, even Sir Edmund Hillary called it 'the best vantage point from which to see Mount Everest'.

He asserted that this collection including Solududhakunda municipality with photos reflecting the ancient cultural heritage, historical places, art and tradition within the municipality will help tourism, promotion and development of Solukhumbu district.

Solududhakund municipality traveling eight times in different seasons and captured on camera in the book  Bharatabandhu Thapa, the writer included, said. Thapa, who has been doing journalism based on the tourism sector for more than two decades, has previously published Wild West Nepal, Destination Karnali, Expolar Farwest, Destination Madhyapur, Nepal in Pictures, Nepal in Images, Panchkoshi Diary.
