The second 'Sangrilla Dialogue' of the Sangrila Literature Festival was held at Moksha Restaurant and Bar in Lalitpur. In the dialogue, writers Abhi Subedi and Arun Gupto discussed various aspects of theater and theory in depth.
Abhi Subedi recalled his work in the drama genre and Arun Gupto highlighted his views on drama from a theoretical perspective. Both discussed their observations on violence and love in the play.
Gupto said, 'The knowledge that comes out of suffering is very important, which was presented in earlier plays, today horror is found, but the knowledge that comes out of suffering is rarely found in plays.'
Abhi Subedi recited an old haiku he composed at the end of the dialogue, which was about a bull.
After the dialogue between Subedi and Gupto, in the second session of poetry reading, 7 poets recited their new and old poems.
Poets Vinodvikram KC, Vishwa Sigdel, Kashiraj Pandey, Momila Joshi, Usha Sherchan, Vijay Hitan and Bhumika Tharu created a grand and beautiful poetic atmosphere of the poem. Most of the poets wrote the portraits of their loved ones and their nostalgia in poetry.
poet KC's 'Shilajit,' Sigdel's 'Jokar Aar Desh', Pandey's 'Baru Ma Rittai Bhirinhu', Joshi's 'Son I am your cursed mother', Sherchan's 'Pani Jai Me', Hitan's 'Prithvinarayan Feri Chandragiri Aaye Chean', and Tharu's 'Grandmother and Country' kept the audience emotional and mesmerized. More than 100 participants participated enthusiastically in the
event.
